Seahaven is a member of the prestigious Seasaga group. Our Group is one of the largest and oldest frozen seafood processing and exporting companies in India, with seafood processing factories strategically located in Mumbai on the West Coast, Visakhapatnam on the East Coast having access to the freshest source of sea caught and farmed products. Both our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art cooking and freezing line, and adheres to the best sanitary and quality standards as expected and accepted in the global food industry.

In the early part of the 20th Century Mr Yousef Yacoub Sait originating from a trading community which had migrated from Kutch region in Gujarat India, an area ravaged by famine, set up business of Dried Shrimp Export in the land of abundance and pristine nature that was Cochin Kerala. Exporting small quantities to then richer colonial countries of Burma (Myanmar) and Singapore were hard times, but his integrity & fulfilling commitments against all odds ensured once a relationship was established with a supplier or customer, they never needed to look elsewhere for their business needs - a trait Seasaga group proudly adheres to even today.

By year 1961 his eldest son Y.M.Elias(father of Shabaz Elias) had pioneered export of first Canned and then Frozen Shrimp from India , in the process building and operating modern factories for that time and era, this visible trait to embrace technology and innovation is the hallmark of Seasaga Group. In London, U.K. Year 1971 he became the first Indian Seafood businessman to set up an International Import & Distribution company in the developed western world, promoting and selling Indian Seafood into all of Europe, besides Europe where Seasaga Group continues its unbroken presence, today it also has its presence in U.S.A., Middle East, Far East and Australia. 

In his long and illustrious career Mr. Y.M.Elias was Vice-Chairman, Marine Export Promotion Council-a Govt. of India body for development & promotion of seafood Industry in India. President, Seafood Exporters Association of India and won several accolades including Presidents Medal for outstanding Export performance in year 1969-70 and have been honored with Life time special Award by Marine Products Export Development Authority of India for his contributions to Indian Seafood Industry.
